Marmot Essence Jacket

Interesting... the bloke in Back Country in Ilkley was raving to me about it to today. I asked if they had any of the old Oz tops and he said no, but they had the new ones. He then went on to say that he wouldn't bother with that though as the Marmot is just as waterproof and way more breathable. They're selling the Haglofs for £200 and the Marmot for £120, so I took his chat at face value as I'd guess you'd expect shop folk to try sell you the most expensive item usually. That said, I think the Marmot's every so slightly heavier and their fabric's probably not as hard-wearing.
